I just recently caught the golf bug. Played with my bro in law 3 rounds. I could only tee off with a five hybrid (Hogan). I shot from the fairway OK with his Adam's Irons, best with the 7 of course. And Ive had crazy beginners luck at putting (I don't understand what the big deal is, just roll it into the hole). I cant hit either of my bro's (Calloway) drivers. My first swing with this Slazenger driver went 250+ and straight!!! Things went a little downhill after that but they were all fairly straight. The Slazenger hybrids are awesome, cant wait to use one on the fairway. The irons all seem to be fine except for the PW, not much loft and for the most part goes farther than the 9, haha. Love the clubs and the bag. Grab a set if you like what I say.

Got my Slazengers for Father's Day to replace my old 60's odd numbered set that I got when I first started playing (in the 60's). I stopped playing 17 years ago, then last year my boys took me out to play. I remembered how I enjoyed the game, but not my old clubs. Now I really enjoy the game and the clubs. They really feel good, and the ball is going straighter and further that ever before. This set fits me to a Tee and I would definately recommend them to any one looking to upgrade.

I took up the game, and started playing this set of clubs in April. After my lessons, I was playing at least two times a week. I have a very big back yard, so I had set up a net and was driving balls into it all Summer long, also working on my pitching and chipping with the irons. I love this set!!! The bag that comes with this set is awsome it's a stand-up bag that comes with lots of pockets for all of your stuff. So
for the value you get a really good set of clubs and a (stand-up bag )

Cons: the fake weights on the driver came off and I had to put back on with some crazy glue. That
was the only problem I had the whole time I have had this set, I would also suggest that you change the grips. I added a Maxfli (SW) & a Walter Hagen Pull-Cart. So between hitting in my backyard, the driving range, playing the course
this set so far has been serving me and my game well. a great, great set for a beginner.

The guy in the golf department told me that these were great clubs. I took his word for it and they were great. They are so much better than the set i was using. I can hit the ball so much straighter with this driver. It has the largest sweet spot. The irons are great and so are the hybrids. They have great "pop" and accuracy. I would recommend buying these clubs to anyone who needs to upgrade or is buying a set for the 1st time.

Great set for a new player. Possibly an above average set for beginners. Feels good on the swing. I was playing out of my friends bag, who is shorter than i am. Getting these in my size really helped. I haven't had any problems with club heads denting or flying off, but I'm not slamming them into the ground either. I wanted this set over the Graphite (blue) mainly because it was a Stand bag. Otherwise i would have taken the Graphite set. How ever, the Woods and Hybrids still use a Graphie shaft, and i have to admit, i prefer the feel of the steel ones on the irons.

I like how this included a 3i Hybrid, over the other set i was considering which started at a 4i hybrid. The bag comes with dual shoulder straps which make carrying it not a big deal, plus the bag itself has a padded area where it rests against your back, which means the designers thought it out well.

On the lows, tho im happy a bag was included, it has its flaws. The Orange divider covers don't stay in place very well, especially when taking out clubs. And the bad itself, doesn't like standing upright without the feet kicked out. Only a problem when its the only bag on the golf cart, as it likes to slide to one side, but i can deal with this. Also, the shoulder straps are not removable, making playing from a cart a little annoying as they are always in the way. There are also no extra rings to hang stuff like a towel or a club brush other than those the straps are on.

I am also sad to find out that Slazenger doesn't seem to much into making clubs anymore, which makes finding matching Lob, Sand & Gap wedges hard. Im not too picky, but it makes me a bit uneasy that there are not more Slazenger clubs to choose from.

Over all I am happy with this as my first set, and may very well keep them for a long time, as i don't see myself becoming anymore than a casual player.

I have been a casual player for several years and have recently begun to play at least twice a week and needed to upgrade to a new set. I was torn as to what clubs to buy and how much to spend. After some thorough research I bit the bullet and bought this set. I LOVE THEM... I can't say they have reduced my score after one game; however, I can say that I now am getting greater distances and am playing in the fairways more often which has shaved some strokes off of my usual scores.

This set of clubs will not hide any of the swing bad habits that beginners may develop. The club has a true feel.I have recomended this set to a couple of beginning golfer friends and they love them.

The Driver got dents on it and the weights fell after after first use, had the driver replaced and after second use the same thing happened to the new driver. The rest of the clubs are great if you can get past the hunk of junk driver. Im sending them back and getting a different set.

over all great buy added a 56 and 60 wedge. I dented my driver when I tossed my iron back in bag. still works great, I guess that is why they come with covers?? use um.

The driver is ten times better than my old Callaway big beretha driver. The putter is very acurate and the hybrids and iron are good to. The bag organizes all your clubs.This is the best set they have. I got them the last night they were on sale, but know they are a little bit more money. You should get this set!

We bought this set for my dad this past fathers day. He had a set of clubs that he bought back in the 1960's that he had not touched in 15 years. We took him out to play a round of 18 at our local course. I was thinking he would do OK... he crushed us!!! The par for the course was 78. He shot an 81. The whole time we played he would not stop talking about how good his Slazenger set felt and played. I would recomend this set for anyone looking to improve their game or upgrade from accient clubs.

This is a great upgrade from the set I had previously. I have improved my short game tremendously and the steel shifts are great since I hit the ball with a lot of force. I would recommend this set to anyone over top name brands for the money.

For the price, the set can not be beat. The irons are great and are forgiving, the hybrids rocks. Only gripe I have is with the driver and the grips. Compared to a 2 year old Taylor Made 360ti driver, it does not stack up. The grips can be replaced. Overall I'm very happy that I chose this set as my first set of clubs as a beginner.

My high school aged son was looking for his own hybrid irons. For the same price, I was able to get him a complete set, including hybrids. Irons feel solid; great set for the price.

these clubs are awesome. they have great feel and look. the hybrids are flat out awesome. I love the irons too. they are so easy to hit and they can easily help with your game. i personally dont use the putter but it looks pretty cool. the only downside to this set is the bag. mine just broke. the stand doesnt work and it tore. but overall excelent clubs!!!!!!

Hacked a few times as a kid, and hacked a few more times in recent weeks. Got the bug and wanted to start playing. Went to D's Sporting Goods and talked with a kid at the golf section and I had one question "are they sized?" He laughed and said not really. I purchased the graphite shafts, why? I have no idea. I played at local hillbilly course where the fairways are straight and lay within 100 feet of each other. I missed the balls quite a few times, but when I hit the darn things went straight as an arrow. Almost made the greens on 4 holes my kid thought I was amazing. Beginners Luck I Know It.

These Clubs are incredible! I was hitting a custom made set of Ben Hogans and I bought these as an upgrade. The next time I went out to play my score improved by about 15 strokes. The sweet spot is amazingly large. Great set for the money

Wicked great clubs, hard to adjust to at first, but then its easier, they have a great feel, one thing is that the PW isn't a lot of loft so u might have to buy another wedge but thats it the rest of the clubs are mint. Buy if you are looking for an upgrade.

I have only been playing for about 3 years and up until now have been using a mix and match set of clubs with a bag I got from a department store. My old bag had 4 pockets in it, the new Slazenger bag has so many pockets I would have to go count them to tell you. You will not be disapointed in your choice if you go with these.

If you are looking for good clubs for a cheap amount of money these are the ones to buy. The hybrids 3i and 4i make it so much easier to hit farther distance with more accuracy. Definitely look at these clubs if you play casually. GOOD BUY!!

Will use them for casual play.
Used them at the driving range just hours after purchase. Not too bad; feels good and very forgiving. The hand grips are too thin though;
feel like the clubs will will leave your hands during the swing. Got use to it after a few swings.

Pretty nice bag and light weight too

Big difference from my previous club set. Played three rounds and already have more control within 150 yds and more accuracy from big guns. First swing with 3i hybrid went 220+ when that would have been solid 3w previously. In three rounds, I have dropped 8 shots off normal pace with the improved control and accuracy. Even impressed friends who normally shoot with Callaway and Ping.

The first week I had the clubs the weights fell out of the 3 Wood. Would not reccomend getting them.
