Great! It took few days to get the hang of it, but was worth it all! I live in a place with the only flat ground being in driveways, and found it easier to learn on a hill for better balance.

Comments about Razor RipStik Caster Board - Blue:

Our 8-year old became quite good after only a few days. Use of a good helmet with elbow pads is critical. Beware of cracks in the pavement that will result in a sure spill. We learned the hard way, what was in reality, clearly obvious; on a hill the only way to stop is a controlled collision or jumping off, which is the same as crashing. After 4-hours in the emergency room we learned he has a broken arm. A light incline is fine, but anything steep leads to disaster. Picture a car or someone suddenly getting into your child's path and ask him to show you how he is going to stop. It is not like Heelys, roller blades or a skate board where you can use the other foot to stop. With the Rip Stick, when you take a foot off, you take a tumble. I hope that you do not have to learn the hard way that with the Rip Stick your child can easily go faster than they can safely stop. It is fun, but be careful.

This thing is just plain terrible. If you think it looks cool and want to learn to use one then get a Wave. It is way better and a ton eaisier to control. Ripsticks are so flimsy and break so easy its ridiculous. [...]

Comments about Razor RipStik Caster Board - Blue:

This is a really awesome product. It is twice as good if you snow board because it helps you out with that i learned right after i bought it. It is a little challenging at first but after you keep on trying it gets very easy. A good picture i have in my mind to help me out when i first rode the ripstick was to pretend you were scraping gum off of your shoe. Good luck to all who try this and dont give up on it!!
