this scooter is great for kids ages 5 and up because you dont need to keep pushing your foot against the ground, all you need to do is steer,controll the gears,and press the back lever.
By doing this you will increase your speed and you dont need to keep pushing it on the ground itself!!!!! <3333 :]

Never got to the point of being able to try out this scooter. Not sure if this is a manufacturing issue but I purchased this scooter for my son at two different retailers and both had the same front fork problem. Both attempts at putting it together were extremely difficult. There is not much to the assembly but the first step is to mount the front wheel between the forks. Due to bent or out of alignment front forks this took a lot of muscle. In one case one fork was longer than the other by a 1/4". Once mounted the wheel was out of alignment and spun poorly. At this point I packed them up and returned them. This could be a fluke but two in a row with the same problem makes you wonder.

Best toy, the kids plain love it.

Most toys end up in the corner, these will be ridden into the ground. I thought one would be fine ( I have 3 kids.... I know what you are thinking, but talk to the wife..) But since they all want to ride it, I had to buy one for each.

I just bought their new Nitrous model for my 5 year old girl...

Money very well spend !

Bought today taking back tomorrow!!! My 8 year son purchased with his birthday money and it is very hard to get any speed on it. No way that you can ride it up a slight incline. The more you push the slower it goes, if the bar is pushed all the way down it acts as a brake and stops any speed that you have. Might be fun for $20 or less, you will be better off to find one at a garage sale that someone else used once or twice and offer them $5 I'm sure they will take it. Save your self the disappointment and don't waste your money.

I go camping alot, and all the kids and adults look at the scooter and ask me questions about it- like where i got it, how much it was, how fun it is, and if they can ride it. This scooter is so much fun to ride around streets on. The only con about it is you get tired easily.

This scooter is awesome and if you can't decide whether to buy it, just buy it. My son's scooter has lasted two months without any problems. Unlike the other reviews, his scooter goes extremely fast and doesn't take much of a pump to go 5 mph. All these good reviews should influence you to buy it because it is an amazing scooter. I picked this up for my son, and ended up having a go on it myself. I found that if you kick all the way down on the bar it tends to slow the scooter.. loosing any momentum you have built up..

It helps me get around the neighboorhood. its so much fun. and it helps give me exercise because its not electric! the only problem is its a little hard to learn and its kinda difficult to start. but once you master it its a BLAST!

the pulse ick and go is one of my favroite things to ride that has 2 wheels. it gives me lots of balance and comfort when i rode one. it was so easy. i just got on and it was like a master.

I'm not sure how long it's been since my kids rode their scooters, but it did remind me that I did the same thing with toys my parents got for me. However, it looks like Pulse has come up with a new take on the old scooter that my kids will enjoy. Ingenious, really....no more leaning over the ground to keep moving means no more speed wobbles for my little girl.
