Best Driver I own
By Bald BuckeyeVerified Reviewer from Central Ohio on 6/15/2008
Pros:
Accurate, Great Feel, Large Sweet Spot
Best Uses:
Long Holes, Off The Tee, Replacement
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Just keep your head down and swing easy, the ball will go a mile. Play with the weight placement if you find you are drawing the ball. I hit the ball straighter with this club and an additional 30-40 yards. Highly recommend

I bought this driver after hitting very well on a simulator... I got on the course and things went from bad to worse. It is a draw model and it worsened my slice! Do your homework before you buy this club.

I bought this club recently and it is a superb driver. I have been consistently hitting in the fairways compare to my old midzise driver. Even the slight off center shots carry the ball farther than my old club. It is definitely easier to hit in the fairway with this driver.

Really screwed up my swing

This club was very disappointing. It messed up my swing, before I had this club I hit my driver perfectly straight. Now all I can hit is extreme fades off the tee(I am talking about into the trees and onto the street). I think it was the weights on the back that caused the problem. I find it hillarious that this club is meant to help me hit a draw, but now I can only hit fades.

I picked this up to upgrade from the driver that came with my Acuity set. It turned out to be an awesome deal. The price was right, I gain a few yards but best of all I am hitting fairways! My confidence is through the roof and I have no doubt my handicap will drop this season.

Outstanding Club, meets all my needs, I often leave my buds in the rear. I have the Draw model and find no problem shaping shots. If you want to max your distance get your swing anyalzed for the right ball, you may need to fine tune your short game, "wedge in"......

I bought this club when they first came out in the draw version. Loved it. Accidentally dented the crown last summer (Large Dent, holds a golf ball) so i bought an R-7 Draw. Big mistake, played it for a couple of months and went back to the R-5 Dual with it's dent. Great Club not to be mistaken for th XL Model. The Dual is now selling for [$] you can't go wrong. Best Driver I've ever had, Ive been looking at the TM Burner but I can't imagine it being as good as the R-5 Dual.

I was playing a Titleist 983 w/ 8.5 loft and hated it. Went up to 12 degree loft Nuetral R5 and hit it longer and straighter. Easier to hit than a 3 wood and the longest most accurate driver I have ever played. I recomend this club to anyone who wants to hit more fairways. Add LOFT, you won't regret it, a lot of pros are hitting 11 and 12 degrees of loft. Don't be proud you will hit it straighter than ever.

I bought this driver b/c I needed to upgrade to a stiff shaft; plus it was a name brand at a great price. I played 9 holes yesterday and hit four drives over 300yds... on a par 5 (544yds) I hit the ball to the 200yd marker. With my old driver the best I could do was 260-270yds. This club is unreal!!! My confidence at the tee box has jump 10 notches :)[...]

I bought one online a weeks ago and had a chance to use it this weekend for the first time. I hit a dozen or so at the range before my round and what a difference. Fantastic distance. Definitely promotes a slight draw. I drove the green on the first hole - 312 yards. I hit around 60% of the fairways the remainder of the round which was much higher than my average. Don't waste your money on those $400 drivers.

Wow.What a difference.Halfway through a bucket of balls I really figured out how to swing this club...after years of poor swinging and bad grips i am crushing the ball far and straight...this is like viagra for my drives...I can hit them just long and hard.I am a lighter golfer under 160 but I get ahold of this club and let it rip. I added at least 20 yards to my drive...oh and the shots are much straighter and not ugly...no more fades (I got the 9.5 stiff shaft with a slight draw)...So i am hitting them now around 280...which is great for me...I am sure if i work at it and play this driver all next season I can get it up to 300. Great driver for a great price [$]! I am very happy with this purchase.

I golf 3 to 5 times a year. My driving had gotten so bad, I have been using my 3 iron off the tee. I bought this club and used it for 18 holes with out any practice. Only 2 bad drives. Much greater distance and much straighter. NO SLICE.

I could not be happier with the club. One of the people in my foursome was so impresed with the improvement in my game he asked to borrow the club.

Pros:

Excellent driver and a great price. This driver increased my distance off the tee by 20-30 yards, and greatly helped me to reduce my slice. I was albe to hit one drive 360 yards with this driver. Very durable also, previous driver was broken after hitting the ground less than 2 times, this drive has already sustained this abuse and has no blemishes.

Bought the driver as a replacement for one that my friend accidentally broke and I've never been happier. I am more consistant on fairways and have farther drives than ever before. Also, I am slicing less. All in all a great club. The size and weight are a perfect combination for this driver.

I just bought this driver and played with it for the first time Sunday. I have always struggled to be accurate with my drive, slicing about 75% of the time. This club made me drive straighter and longer with NO SLICE! Anybody trying to get rid of the occassional slice and hot a longer, more accurate drive, BUY THIS CLUB NOW! And its CHEAP!
