The PowerBow design of this Nike® SasQuatch Sumo Driver results in a higher MOI, therefor delivering more distance and forgiveness. A higher MOI reduces twisting on off-center shots for longer and straighter drives. SasQuatch's larger and lower Nike PowerBow geometry moves the CG further back and lower that the original SasQuatch driver.

I have always hit a 3W off the tee, accurate, and about 280, so I never felt a driver would improve my game. I used the 10.5 loft club last week with friends, and was amazed. Power was great, I averaged about 330 per drive, and drove 2 340+ yard par 4 doglegs. I hit all but 1 fairway, and shot the best round of my life. The only con I have is that it sounded like broken glass when my friends hit it. A higher swing speed makes the sound a little crisper.

I am 61. I never hit THIS far as a young man.
Shots as long as 260 yards, and reasonably accurate. My club speed is 85 MPH, thus regular flex, loft 10.5 deg. Driver that came with set usually went 210 yds, with an annoying slice. Buy one suitable for YOUR swing, NOW!

I use this club on long holes when I know that I am going to be hitting a mid iron into the green but I also love it for those short par 4's where all I have to hit is a wedge into the green, haven't hit this off the fairway yet and dont really need to, this club is very long, I hit my onld driver 280 yards no I hit this one 320-350 yards, its crazy, I am 16 years old and this club has done so much for me, its hard to control at first but once you get use to it, u want to use it for every shot, I have a hard time with clubs cuz I can hit all them so far, but I met my match when I bought this club

I got this club a few days ago and took it to the driving range a couple hours after. Before no matter what driver I hit with I either sliced or faded nearly every shot, a straight drive was a rare luxury. I adjusted grip, stance, etc and that helped a little but when I hit with this driver my worse shot was a slight fade. I hit nearly every shot straight and long. My best shot I hit the net at 200 yds half way up...it easily woulda gone 250+. I even was able to hit a few intentional draws. This club is great for powerful yet controlled straight shots. Great sound by the way. Sounds like you're blasting the ball of the tee on every shot

If you've been looking into getting the Sasquatch, dont. The worse decision i've ever made was trading in my X 460 for this massive yellow club. I lost 10-15 yards and the club face made every one of my shots hook. I would reccomend the Taylormade r7 if your looking for a driver for the same price. If you could put an extra 100-200 bucks,
i would reccomend getting the Burner or the Superquad.

I recently purchased this club to replace my walmart intech which hit well but the regular shaft produced a terrable slice so i bought this one with a stiff shaft. It feels great, the head is very solid when i really swing. I havent brought it to the range yet but i hit some balls of my lawn and it hits much lower than my old driver with the same loft 10.5 i would say that it has added 50 yards give or take a few

I'm about 16 years old, and I started playing last April. I had never picked a golf club up in my life. I went from a 76 on 9 holes. By the end of the summer I was shooting low 50's to high 40's. I got the club on my 16th birthday and I went out the next day and shot a 38 on a par of 36. I was hitting straight down the fairway and about 300+ yards. So I would highly recommend that you purchase this club if you are a beginner or if just want to improve your game.

I got this club for Christmas and I went out today (the 26th) with one of my friends who got the same driver for christmas and we played 9 Holes. Not a par three course but half of a real course. It worked great. I had an older big bertha with a smaller face and finding the right tee height was a small issue but once I found the right height, the club worked great. I love the tink sound it makes. I think the Sumo2 (square) sounds like an aluminum bat but this one is much better especially when you hit it directly on the sweet spot. My friend loves his. We each have the 10.5 Degree Regular Flex Shaft. Before I was hitting this driver, I had a bad slice. Now whenever I hit it I either hit it straight or a slight very small fade or draw down the center of the fairway. If you need a new driver and you have the money to spend, buy this driver. You won't be disappointed.

The Sumo is without question the best driver I've ever hit. Such a sweet spot, smooth swing crisp sound. I have the 9.5 stiff and by upgrading, this club has all but eliminated my slice off the tee. Hit a friends year old Sasquatch for a while and decided that I had to have one of my own..

Changed my life as far as golf is concerned.

Look no further.. The Nike SUMO SQ. is by far the greatest driver made! I am talking maximum forgiveness... for a golfer like me who never knows where my drive would end up.

My fiance` bought this for me for Father's Day and ever since I have been on the fairways! Good distance ( not great ) but ALWAYS in the fairway.

A great driver to take the guess work out of the tee box.

Great Club
By DavidVerified Reviewer from Frisco, TX on 8/12/2007

Great Club! I tested this and the new Big Bertha driver [...] I hit the Sumo 20 yards further than the Big Bertha and about 40 yards further than my normal. I don't have a high swing speed at all and I hit it better than I ever have. I recommend this to everyone!

I have a Callaway X 460, which is hit and miss for me however; after a day hitting the Nike I am straight and around 280 yards with consistency. Specs of the Nike where 9.5 loft with a stiff shaft. My Callaway does have a regular shaft which could be part of the problem but that is what I was fitted with by the pro shop. The Nike is the best I have seen in my "short" experience with the game at 51 years young!

Doesn't get any better. I've always been a good driver of the ball, but this is the best driver I've ever used...bar none. I switched from a Cleveland Launcher Comp, a much more "traditional" looking driver. Once you get past the Sumo's looks, it's all downhill from there. The safest club in my bag is this driver. No kidding...

I hit the Sumo yesterday at the range after hitting my r580XD. I was hitting a 9.5 loft instead of my usual 10.5 since they didn't have any. I was impressed! I was hitting this driver straighter than my r580XD. Not sure if it's because of the MOI or what, but this thing works and it flies. Great club!
