I used this bike for 6 months and was in love with it, the only initial problem was that the pulse monitor did not work well.

Then it began flashing and error (E1)whenever turned on, the computer would no longer work. I can find no description of this or any other error in the documentation, and the manufacturer is unresponsive.

I hardly used this bike and the "Resistance Motor" broke. The replacement part is not available! The readout is not intuitive. It seemed like a good value, but since at least some spare parts are not available, I suggest you consider a different brand. Dick's was very helpful resolving the problem.

Terrilble! Bought this for my parents for christmas. Got it together and unit does not read rpm, speed, calories.... Got the extended warrenty and called the number. They told me that the manufacturer wanted me to ship the unit AT MY EXPENSE back to them. My rep said that my warranty company would fight that and would cover the shipping for me. Remember this bike is new out of the box!! Terrible product, and service on the manufacturers part. [...] Avoid this bike at all costs!!!!

Bought this product one day ago and am taking it back tomorrow. The first use after putting it together resulted in a broken seat lock. The metal was very cheap. I bought the extended warranty so one phone call was all I needed to get a repair scheduled. The following day, my wife went to use the bike and it would not turn on. We tried unplugging it from the wall and plugging it back in and nothing helped. I will be returning it tomorrow and purchasing a schwinn.

I purchased one of these bikes, assembled it, climbed on and CLUNK - no tension after a few turns. [...] The new one works great and I'm really enjoying it - a solid piece of machinery. Just beware of the possibility that you might get one that doesn't work too well. I'd suggest giving the pedals a few turns before assembling, just to be sure there's tension.

After owning this machine less than six months, an E1 error code appeared and it made an awful beeping noise. Manufacturer was not helpful at all. Two Thumbs down!!

I bought this bike about 6 months ago and have put about 900 miles on it. Everything works as advertised. But after about 500 miles it got a little clunky. I probably wouldn't have even noticed it if the bike wasn't so quiet before. I have really been hard on the bike, going to the upper levels for time and sprinting at the lower levels. It is dependable. I will probably upgrade to a bike that is closer to gym quality. This is a great bike for the price and the best part is it doesn't break the bank while you find out if you will actually use it or collect dust or dity clothes on it.

By Robert L from Denver, NC on 6/12/2007

The machine is better than advertised. Quailty construction. Has features included in more expensive exercise bikes. Sales price was decision maker. Assembly was easy and all tools were included. Built in programs were a pleasant surprise. Workout was excellent.

By Dean R from Westland, MI on 11/27/2006
Pros:
Comfortable

I have had this unit for about 2-weeks now. Construction is very good. Electronics and display are very good and easy to use. Riding position is very comfortable and the seats are of high quality. It took about an hour to assemble and set-up...not too bad, the unit includes all the necessary tools. My only complaint is that the resistance levels seem too high. Settings range from 1-16, I never go higher than 4! I work out often and play tennis twice weekly. Even at setting 1, the bike offers ample resistance. Overall, a great choice.
