The rear sight was misaligned on the first gun b/c the holes drilled into the barrel was a little off to the left side. I returned it for a new one. The second gun was not as powerful as the first but cocking it was much easier than the first. Very accurate with the scope properly aligned. It was a bit difficult to reload, you have to point the gun downward and shake it from side to side to get the bb to load onto the magnetic pin.

i tried using this product to shoot at a couple of cans from about 50 ft. away. the pelets could'nt evan go in a strait line!! i have a 1200 fps gun and it has trouble putting it 20 ft! i also tried at a couple of birds and squirrels but could'nt evan get in range (you might as well hunt with a knife). also they richeshay like none other! if you want your moneys worth i would just go with the competition pellets. they go farther with more effect.

I use it to hunt raccons and possums and rabbits and squirrels and grounhogs and birds and just about any other pest you can name. My dad and i were both surprised by the power it has. Once i took down a full grown coon that was up a tree on one shot to the head. And its accurate

By canuck from New Bruncwick, Canada on 8/17/2008
Pros:
Easy To Load, Fast shooting, Good FPS, Great Seals, High Velocity, Holds 12rds a clip, LIGHT WEIGHT
Cons:
Bad fps in cold weather, Co2 runs out rather quick, Iron sights not great, Will jam if shot too fast
Best Uses:
Backyard, Medium range shots, Practice, Small game like squirrel, Target Shooting, Windy Conditions
Describe Yourself:
Experienced
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great gun for its price!! I have shot tons of ammo through it and have had no problems to date. However I bought a scope for it and found it quite difficult to sight in due to the normal inconsistency of co2, and because I live in Canada the gun internals will freeze from cold co2 in below 0 temperatures causing low velocity. And because I do a lot of winter hunting this is a big problem, but in the summer time this gun is great, very high velocity for a repeater, also because I do a lot of walking, being light weight makes a great feature, this gut is really only good for squirrels, small birds and I’m sure rats, I have tried many time to take out the crows but the gun wont penetrate, even with pointed pellets. I have even lured them in to 25 feet and can’t kill them unless it’s a direct head shot. This brings me to the iron sights, I find there hard to see past at any distance which makes it inaccurate. Over all this is a great gun, good beginners’ gun. But not what I’m looking for. I want a little better accuracy and stopping power.

sucks something awful

i bought one of these gun about a year ago and that one broke in a few days. no idea why it just stopped working. i traded it in and got another one. the scope constantly goes out of focus, the flashlight broke, and the biopod sucks. now for the gun, when i fire it, nothing comes out. it just shoots out a blast of air and the clip is near imbosible to get out. i usually have to use someling like a stick of dynamite to get it out. if you are looking for a fairly cheap pellet gun to get for your kid, go with a hand gun pellet gun. theres a lot less that can go wrong with them. otherwise just get a single shot break barrel. thats what i did when i retured this one.

Very good and accurate gun. The product is easy to figure out. I enjoy going out in the backyard and shooting at targets. With this gun and a scope, i barely ever miss. You can load pellets into this gun but that is extremly hard to do. I would stick to using only BBs in this gun.
